My family has been in Texas since the 1850s. I know it seems amazing
since I don't seem to have an accent! I went to Richardson schools until we
moved to Scottsdale,Arizona when I was 13. I grew up a block away from the
Salt River Indian Reservation. I worked in the semiconductor and optics
industry for six years.
My teaching career spans 23 years. I have taught 13 years in Chandler,
Arizona and ten years at Spicewood. I love teaching!! I have a bachelor's
degree from Arizona State University and a master's degree from Northern
Arizona University.
I am happily married with two, wonderful, grown children, April and Jeremy.
My daughter works for General Electric and my son is an engineer for LSI.
I am blessed with four precious grandchildren,Andrew, age 11, Ashley, age 10,
Mason, age 4, and Zachary, age 2.
Spicewood students are always inquiring about and exploring their world.
They are the stewards of this world and the ultimate caretakers. They are
responsible individuals that know what it is to be open-minded, take
risks, think deeply, and be principled. They are very caring individuals and
show their best manners. Their parents and teachers are very proud of
them.
