We can not find a library book. Do we need to pay?
Books usually turn up, so we do not require payment until the end of the year. If you would like your child to resume checkout have your child pick up a note for you to sign & return that says you will pay at the end of the year if the book is not found.Back to Top

What is the Adopt-a-book program?
Here's how it works:1) Fill out a form indicating your desire to participate in the Adopt-a-Book Program. (The forms go home at the beginning of the year, but extras are in the library.) The cost is $20.2) You or your child may select a brand-new book from our collection in the library office. (These books have library bindings and usually last longer than the ones you buy at a bookstore.) 3) A special bookplate with the childs name and year donated will be added to the book, and a photo of your child will be displayed on the bulletin board just outside the library. 4) Your child will be the first one to check out the book. This will be above the number of books your child is allowed to check out.Back to Top
