I grew up in Nederland,Texas and will be attending my 40th class reunion this
year at Nederland High School. I taught in Beaumont,Texas for 8 years after
graduating from Lamar University in 1977. I moved to Austin and began teaching
at Spicewood in 1985. All together I was a classroom teacher for 31 years
which included 4 years in first grade and all the rest in kindergarten. This
year is my 4th year as a P.E. teacher.I have one daughter,Leah and 3
grandchildren. Jason is a freshman at Texas State and a yell leader!My
granddaughter, Olivia just turned 16 and is a sophomore at Lehmann High School
is Kyle,Texas. I also have a four year old granddaughter named Harper. My
son-in-law, Rich teaches at Akin High School. I have two dogs, Lulu and Gus.
For fun I like to take them to Lady Bird Lake,rike my bide,go to movies, and
read!!!!!
Bill Berry's Bio:I grew up in Pt.Arthur,Texas. I attended college at
Southwest Texas State and graduated in l980. My first coaching job was in Pt.
Neches, Texas. I moved to Austin in l984 and began teaching for the Round
Rock Independent School District at Pond Springs Elementary. In 1987, I moved
to Spicewood and have enjoyed the students and the teachers here for the past
24 years. I have a son named Will, a daughter named Hannah. I have a labrador
retriever named Lucy. My hobbies include water skiing,snow skiing,bike
riding,and taking Lucy for long walks.I love participating and watching all
sports.
