This is my 14th year at Spicewood! Some of you may have heard that I served
as the assistant principal for 7 years, but decided 6 years ago that I
really wanted to be back in the classroom. I am thrilled to be teaching
again and just love spending the day with the students! Before coming to
Spicewood, I taught 4th and 5th grade for 6 years at Dawson Elementary in
Austin ISD and taught for a year at a Department of Defense school in Germany.
My family and I live in the neighborhood. My son, Evan, is now a junior at
Westwood High School. My daughter, Erin Rose, will be a freshman this
year! It seems strange to have them both at the same school again! My
husband, CPT Eric Morley, is in the TX Army Nat'l Guard and is currently
serving in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. My mother,
Mrs. Beryl Kerwick, also lives with us. Mrs. Kerwick is an accomplished
artist - you may have noticed her paintings of Aesops's Fables that hang in
the Spicewood library! We also have a beautiful chocolate lab named, Lulu.
