Mrs. June has been married for thirty years. She and her husband Toby, have
two wonderful children: Trey and Linsy. After graduating from the University
of Texas in Austin, Mrs. June began her career in education.
Mrs. June has been the Principal at Spicewood Elementary since August, 2000.
Prior to being at Spicewood, she was the Principal at Forest Creek
Elementary (from 1996-2000) and Robertson Elementary (from 1990-1996), both
in Round Rock ISD. Prior to becoming a principal in RRISD, Mrs. June taught
for nine years in Spring Branch ISD, in the Houston area. She taught
kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, fifth grade, and
ESL............and loved them all. After nine years of teaching, Mrs. June
was named the Associate Principal at Memorial Junior High, in Spring Branch
ISD.
Besides serving as Spicewood's Principal, Mrs. June has enjoyed many varied
experiences. She currently serves on the Superintendent's Advisory Committee
and has been the Director of Teacher Capacity for Round Rock ISD. This
included leading the District's Curriculum Council, the Westwood Secondary
Curriculum Council, and the Westwood Elementary Curriculum Council. Mrs. June
has been an Adjunct Graduate Faculty Member of Texas State University.
