I am a native Houstonian. I attended Texas A&M University and got my BS in
Health Education. I have four children: Erin, Ryan, Caitlin and Brendan. I
also have two adorable grandchildren Mattison and Ace. They all keep me busy
when I am not in school.
I stayed at home for sixteen years raising my children. I went back to work
when my youngest, Brendan started kindergarten. I worked for 8 years as the
Aide for K-1 and Mrs. Sitz. I enjoyed very much working in kindergarten.
When I learned that Ms. Hruska was retiring I decided to try something
different. I went back to school to get my alternative certification for
teaching last summer and started teaching first grade this year.
My hobbies include, reading, yoga, watching movies and playing with my
grandchildren.
