Homework

WE ASK THAT ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS WRITE DOWN THEIR HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS
IN THEIR ASSIGNMENT NOTEBOOK EACH DAY!

1.For grammar homework please review the actual lesson in your hardcover
grammar book first. Then go to the corresponding lesson in the grammar
workbook. BE SURE TO REVIEW THE LESSON FIRST! Grammar homework is usually the
first two pages of the lesson we are studying. Your assignment notebook
should ALWAYS reflect the day's homework.

2. At the beginning of every six weeks, you will need to select a book of
choice in an assigned genre (historical fiction, contemporary fiction, science
fiction biography, classic.) See syllabus for the calendar of the assigned
genres.

Don't procrastinate! Be reading your selected book of choice in the assigned
genre each six weeks. There will be a book report assigned every six weeks.
Directions will be given out at the beginning of the six weeks.

3. There is a class novel each semester that every student will read. I will be
loaning you a copy, so you won't need to buy one. Reading assignments are
given in manageable chunks. See syllabus for the class novels.
