I am a native "New Englander" and rather new to Texas. I grew up in
Connecticut and then headed off to Middlebury College in Vermont to pursue a
degree in English. While there, I also swam competitively on the college's
team, wrote an occasional piece for the school newspaper and tried to stay
warm!
After college, I took a job right outside of Washington, DC in a political
marketing firm. I enjoyed the work, but realized I wanted a change, so I
headed out to California to pursue my Master's Degree and teaching
credential at Pepperdine University. After graduating, I accepted my first
teaching job here at Stony Point and my husband and I made our way to Austin.
I am excited to be the swim coach here for the second year! It was a
fantastic year last year, and I am looking for it to be even more successful
this season!
