I have been teaching Science here at Stony Point for 5 years. In that time I
have taught in Biology, IPC, Environmental Systems, Chemistry,
and Physics classes. I really love the challenge and possibilities of
Science.
I love teaching at Stony Point. The students are really special. I love
their humour, their friendliness, and their respect for others. The teachers
here at Stony Point are not only supportive of students, and also of one
another. I love working here. I am excited to teach Environmental Systems
and Principles of Technology this year.
I have been married 24 years, and have four wonderful children. I have two
dogs and like all kinds of animals. Other interests that I have
include (but are not limited to) singing (especially in my church choir),
gardening, reading, camping, kayaking, bird watching and fishing.
It is my goal for every student to learn how to solve lifes problems in
logical ways, by using what they know and observe to make predictions and
solve problems. This is what scientist do, and how science can impact daily
life.
