I have been teaching at Stony Point for 10 years. I have a Master's Degree
from Texas State in Secondary Education with an Art Teaching Certification.
I've taught in several other RRISD schools as well as for DODDS in Europe.
I've also worked at Laguna Gloria Art School in Austin teaching workshops in
Drawing, Painting, and Printmaking. I've shown my art through Austin
Coalition of Artists. I've also worked and collaborated with "Women
Printmakers of Austin"
This is my dream job. I love Visual Art. It is my passion to explore
creativity. I feel that working with students is a high calling.
We are creating our own artistic styles. We are learning about art and
artists lives. We are developing and nurturing art appreciation. We are
discerning art in our environment and communicating visually. We are
expressing ideas that can't be expressed any other way than through our art.
