SMOOSH book specifics: pick a year and write 6 sentences about 6 important events that happened that year. One sentence goes on each page of your smoosh book. Each sentence must contatin a different verb and be conjugated into the regular preterite past tense (what we've been practicing). Include a picture on each page that goes with your sentence. You can use clip art, images from the net, magazines, newspaper or you can draw. I posted a list of the irregular verbs that CANNOT be used in your smoosh book under the handouts section of my webpage. Come by tutorials if you have additional questions, or email me :)
