Every day is different for our volunteers, and the tasks are numerous, but fun. Parents,
grandparents, and guardians may find themselves doing a variety of things:
*check in and check out books,
*reshelf books,
*help students and teachers find and use resources in the library and on the Internet,
*help with birthday books
*help children select age appropriate books,
*help process books for check out,
*and most importantly, offer a smiling, encouraging face to all of the patrons of our library.
Best of all, the library is the center of the school, and by volunteering here, you can be
involved in our most active area--interacting with all the teachers, students and support staff
at every level. It's a great way to meet people and to get first-hand knowledge about how
Teravista Elementary works. Whether you have 30 minutes to spare or 2 hours to help, come join
the team. WE NEED YOU IN THE LIBRARY!
