Dog Tags

Dog Tag Awards

At the end of every 9 week grading period, Teravista Elementary holds a Dog Tag Award Ceremony.  Every grade level has different objectives for students to work towards in order to earn a Dog Tag Award.  Some of the Dog Tags are earned based on classroom behavior, others are earned by mastering academic objectives. This year, Ms. Plemons and I have developed a list of academic milestones we hope our students will achieve during their years in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade Functional Academics.

At the end of every 9 week grading period, I will review the students progress on the following academic objectives and determine if your child has mastered any of the objectives.  When your child has mastered the objective, he/she will be awarded a Dog Tag in that subject area.
