Homework

Homework  consists of your child reading nightly to you for 10 minutes then 
retelling the story from beginning to end (using character names, setting, 
problems, and solutions) and making connections to the story. Ask questions 
like: 

"who", "what", "where" to prompt retelling and predicting.

If you would please initial and make any comments on their reading log. 

Kindergarten homework should not take more than 10 minutes and is completed 
independently.
