Hello parents and students! I am a former Round Rock graduate and attended
Texas Tech University. I recieved a BS in Human Development and Family
Studies. Then I attended Texas State University and recieved my teaching
certificate and Master's Degree in Elementary Education. This is my third
year teaching Kindergarten and I couldn't be more excited. I look forward to
working with your children and inspiring them to love learning and explore
the world around us. Teaching has been my passion ever since I was a little
girl and I thank you for giving me the privilege to work with your child.
A few other things about me personally: I married my college sweet heart on
March 14,2009; my favorite color is pink,(even though my classroom represents
the Red Raiders) I love to scrapebook, and play outside with my boxer
(Wilson) and weimaraner (Duke). I have one older brother who is a Navy SEAL
and is currently in Virginia Beach. My family is very important to me and I
have a passion for being grateful every single day for my brother's courage
to support our freedom. He is my hero! I enjoy reading books about success,
courage, and following your dreams. Recent books I read and highly recommend
are The Alchemist, The Lone Survivor, and The Outliers.
We are in Kindergarten to explore, discover, learn and have fun doing it!!!
In order for everyone to learn and be successful, we will ALL listen, follow
directions, follow school and classroom rules, and teach others what we
already know, and explore learning through questioning the world as we
discover new things.
