On Friday, November 6, we had our 7th Annual Thelma Jones Book Parade in honor of National Children's Book Week.  Each class at TJE chose a favorite book and decorated their overhead cart to make a parade float.

 

Our class' book was "Chicks and Salsa" and we decided to make our float look like the main character of the story...a giant rooster wearing a sombrero!  It turned out so cute!

 

The parade was a big success!  Campbell and Justin from our class got to carry the banner to start off the parade!
