CURRENT PROJECT:
Students are beginning work on a series of advertisement layouts using
InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator elements together. Students will create a
half-page grayscale advertisement layout for their invented company and
create layout specifications, style and character sheets and images for the
layout. InDesign skills processes include:
-Layout setup and preferences (measurements, margins, etc.)
-Style sheets with appropriate font per catagory
-Photos (manipulation and correction in Photoshop)
-InDesign clipping path and image frames
-InDesign stroke and borders
Completed ads will be saved in PDF format and printed.
The students currently are working on a 9x12 full page full-color (CMYK)
advertisement for their "company". The advertisment must include their logo,
a clipping path, a filtered image, and stylized text from Illustrator. The
project is due on April 23.
