The fifth grade grading scale is as follows:
50% classwork grades
35% tests
15% homework
Remember any homework grade or classwork grade can be corrected for a 70%.
Check your Thursday Folder for upcoming events and for your child's behavior
report for the week.
Check your child's agenda daily so you can keep up with the work he/she is
doing and any that he/she needs to do for homework.
LATE WORK - Homework is expected to be turned in on time. Points will be
deducted for late work.
Day it is due-If they come to school w/o homework complete, they can finish
it in study hall for a max. grade of 89%.
1 Day late-If it comes in the next day, the max. grade will be 80%.
2 Days late-The max. grade will be a 70%.
3 Days plus late-not accepted.
