OF THEIR HOMEWORK. IT THEY ARE BRINGING HOME WHAT YOU FEEL IS TOO MUCH, THEN
YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK WITH ME TO SEE IF YOUR CHILD IS USING HIS/HER TIME
WISELY IN CLASS.
ALSO ALL FAILING WORK CAN BE MADE UP FOR A SEVENTY

Each week the students will have a warm up and a vocabulary test on Friday.
It is composed of two grades, the spelling words (spelling grade) and the
science vocabulary grade. The spelling words and the definitions are on the
5th Grade Team page.
MONDAY-The students will usually have to do their first 5 flash cards.
Please check your child's agenda daily to see what the days is work might be.
Tuesday-We will have a warm up and the homework will be the second 5 flash
cards.
Wednesday-We will write a sentence with each work. I will have gone over what
each definition means. I will grade for the correct meaning and the spelling
and puncutation.
Thursday-On Thursday we will usually write their words 3 to 5 times each.
This is to make sure that the kids know the spelling of the words as well as
which definition goes with each word.
Friday-Vocabulary/spelling test. When we get farther into the year we will be
taking a test over the warm up.
