I am originally from Corpus Christi, Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M
Corpus Christi and began my teaching career at Ella Barnes Elementary.
I have taught 2 years of first grade and 6 years of 2nd grade. I truly love
what I do and enjoy learning new teaching techniques to improve my teaching
style and my students learning.
My family and I moved to Leander 5 years ago and this will be my 6th year at
Union Hill Elementary.
My husband and I have 3 beautiful children...ALL BOYS! David is 13,Andrew is
8 and Christopher is 2 1/2 years. There is never a dull moment in the
DeLaGarza household and since my home is full of boys I get to claim
the "Princess Throne!"
I am your typical "soccer, football and basketball" mom and believe it or
not I love the outdoors. Every year my family and I go on a camping trip to
Garner State Park and YES I camp out in tents!
When I am not busy with "the boys," I love watching romantic comedies and
since I haven't found the time to scrapbook I have found a new
love....BLOGGING!
I am excited about another school year and the wonderful memories we will
make in 2nd Grade. I look forward to meeting all of my students and working
closely with parents to help your child be successful.
