Homework

Homework is given out every Friday and due by the next Friday. Students can turn it in early if they would like. Homework should be done throughout the week at your own pace. It should not take more than 40 minutes each night. Your child has a yellow homework folder to put it in. Every week your child will have a homework assignment sheet that must be signed by the parent. This signature tells me that you looked over your child's homework. Your child is responsible for the following each week: 1) Math: A math worksheet will go home on the current material being taught. Your child also needs to be studying their multiplication facts. 2) Reading: Your child should be reading his/her chapter AR book nightly. They are responsible for completing a reader's response journal each week at school during morning work time. 3) Spelling: Your child is responsible for completing 100 points from the spelling menu and for studying the spelling words so that they are ready for the spelling test on Friday.
