How many times a year do we have conferences?

We have conferences 2 times a yr. and on a "as needed" 
basis.

Can I have lunch with my child?

Of course!  I will post our lunch time as soon as it is 
available. Please do 
not plan on coming the first week of school. Separation anxiety 
can 
sometimes be a problem.

How will I know if my child is misbehaving?

We are so busy that behavior is usually not a big problem.  I 
normally take 
care of this in the classroom, but I will send a note or call 
before 
anything gets out of hand.  The children are expected to follow 
our rules.  
To set your mind at ease, I am not a yeller!  We treat each other 
with 
respect in our classroom.

Can I send candy/treats to the class?

Sorry,  we can only have special treats at our parties or your 
child's 
birthday.  We do have a daily snack time in the afternoon.  
Children may bring their snack each day and it is left in their 
backpack.  We encourage you to pack a nutritious snack.

What should I do if my child is absent?

Please call the office and let them know.  They will e-mail me 
that morning.

When does my child get to trade his/her library book?

The children get to trade in their books several times a week. I 
send 2 or 3 at a time to the library and they do a very good job. 
We have group library time on Thursday mornings with Mr. Kenny, 
our librarian.
