All STEM Academy Students
Week of December 1-5:
(1) Have all parts of your science report ready to assemble into one properly
formatted document.
(2) Do three TeenBiz assignments as usual.
(3) No homework packets for anyone (woo-hoo).
(4) Reminder: Second Q2 book reports are due December 17.
The big push in class this week is to get the science project ready to turn
in. I will be using my contact time with the students helping them format
their reports in APA style. Basically, this means the following:
--Size 12 New Times Roman font
--One-inch margins all around
--Double spaced
--No title page
--Page number in the upper right-hand corner (use the header)
--Headings centered with initial caps
--References page to follow APA guidelines

Week of November 24-28:
The assignment for the week is to complete three TeenBiz assignments, just
like always. Students will have three hours of computer lab, so it should not
be a problem.

Week of November 17-21:
CHANGE OF PLANS: Maunas won't have a homework package this week!
Looks like a fairly normal week (finally!) Please do three TeenBiz lessons
this week. Don't forget, that means an email, multiple choice activity, and
thought question for EACH of them! Also, if you have a Halloween sticker on
the outside of your journal, do a graphic organizer in your journal before
writing the thought question.
Homework packages will go out for Kalo and Ahi on Monday. Maunas will get
theirs on Wendesday. All are due on Monday (November 24) by 8:20 a.m. As
usual, I strongly enourage you to turn them in early.
Finally, if you are behind on the science project, catch up!!!!! Past due
items include the Introduction and Procedure/Materials You should be doing
your experiment at home this week.
