Mrs. Clevenger
I first came to Voigt Elementary in 1985 when my oldest son entered
Kindergarten. I spent the next several years as a parent volunteer, helping
my children's teachers in their classrooms and working on various PTA
activities. In 1989 I began working as a substitute teacher.
When my youngest child left Voigt for C. D. Fulkes, I began teaching 5th grade
right here at Voigt. I spent many years teaching 5th and 3rd grade before
moving to Special Education where I taught students in grades 2 through 5.
This year I have returned to the classroom to teach 4th grade Math and Science.
I am dedicated to teaching children how to learn, challenging them to think,
and building their confidence and self image.
My classroom is a place where children are expected to accept a challenge,
develop an understanding of themselves as learners, and treat others with
respect.
