Mrs. Morello

The food drive was held in the month of November. NJHS held a school-wide contest to see which advisory could collect the most food. The winner of the contest was Mrs. Vonderheide's advisory. They collected over 80 pounds of food. Overall, Walsh donated 700 pounds of food to the Austin Area Food Bank.

Collection day was a lot of fun. NJHS students scampered around the school collecting boxed of canned and dried food. The students tried to make a can pyramid after all results were tallied.

These are the food drive results. The students had a great time weighing and recording the boxes of food.
