When does the school open?
Students may enter at 7:45 AM. Class begins promptly at 8:20AM.
Students are allowed to remain in the Commons area, the
cafeteria, or the library. It is important that your child be at
school each day to optimize his/her learning experience. If your
child comes in late, he/she must go to the office to get a pass
before coming to class.
What are the school's and classroom's expectations?
Classroom Rules and Expectations:
In order to maintain a positive learning environment, the
following classroom expectations are needed:
1) Be prompt and in your seat
2) Be prepared with necessary materials
3) Be productive and on task
4) Be respectful in words and in actions
5) Be positive
We will discuss these expectations in details the first week of

These rules and expectations follow under our PBIS, Positive

What is our class retake policy?
For any major test, students are welcome to retake any test
that's scored below an 80. They must first make corrections,
attend at least one tutorial session with the teacher, and
turn in all assignments relating to the test. A student can
earn up to an 80 on a retake.
For homework quizzes, students can make corrections and turn
in all related assignments for that week to earn a maximum
score of 80.
