What CAD software do you teach the students?

We use Autodesk Inventor 2011. This is not an educational version, it is one 
of the most widely used software programs in industry today.

What kind of tools will the students use?

I have incorporated as much of the school woodshop experience as I possibly 
could. The students will learn to use band saws, scroll saws, drill presses, 
and a variety of hand tools.
