I was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. Spanish is my first language. I lived
in Spain and Mexico to further my studies. I am passionate about the
language and culture of the Hispanic world and I love the fact that I can
share that with students who are interested in learning. I moved three
years ago from Long Island, New York. Yes, I am a yankee at heart, but I do
love Texas as well. This is my 8th year teaching. My spare time is
dedicated to my husband and twin girls who are 5 years old and who just
started kindergarden!
Objectives:
•To help students become orally proficient in Spanish.
•To give students the valuable job skill of being able to speak Spanish.
•To acquaint students with the customs, traditions, literature, history and
music of Hispanic countries.
•To encourage students to develop good study habits and become independent
learners.
