Bonjour! Bienvenidos! Willkommen! Hello!

I am very excited to start a new year at Walsh Middle School! Each year
brings something new and exciting, and I look forward to meeting my students
this year! I will be teaching French IA/IB, Yearbook, and Exploratory
Languages. I love being involved with so many creative students on campus!

I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been living in
Round Rock, Texas for five years. I am married and we have three boys and a
girl. The newest addition to our family is four months old. Our youngest
son is 3 years old and the older boys will be entering 2nd and 4th grades.
Although we miss the cool Bay breezes, we are having tons of fun with the
Texas wildlife found right in our own backyard!

I completed a Bachelor of Arts in French Language with a minor in English
Language Studies from San Francisco State University, and received my
Secondary Teaching Credential from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont,
CA. I began my teaching career at middle school and am happy to be back to
this age group. Before coming to Walsh I taught high school English, French
and Driver’s Safety Education. I have also instructed adults in English as a
Second Language and Beginning Conversational French.

I love to travel and explore new places, languages, and cultures. I have
lived in Zürich, Switzerland, Paris, France and Revel, France (near
Toulouse). During these stays I travelled throughout Europe, including one
trip to Poland and East Germany the year the Berlin Wall came down. Prior
to having children, I spent my summers in Paris co-directing an educational
program for high school students.

I am looking forward to sharing my love of travel with my children. In the
meantime, we are entertained by swimming, biking, reading books, and
exploring the great outdoors. You may even see me ride my bike to school!
