Your child will be receiving a Speech Folder. Items placed in the folder will
be considered Speech Homework. Spending 5-10 minutes per night may
significantly enhance your child's progress toward his/her goals. Usually, if
it's in the folder, your child has successfully completed the page to 70%
accuracy in therapy. Homework is intended for extra "good speech" practice, not
teaching at home. If anything sent home feels frustrating to you, please let
me know, as I may need to change items.
If your child comes to preschool at Westwood and receives speech therapy as
part of their program, look in their backpack for their speech folder.
