This is my 10th year at Westwood Elementary. Before coming to Texas in 2000, I taught classes in
Missouri, Florida, and The U.K.
My wife, Alyssa, and I have been married for 19 years. In 2001 she gave
birth to a precious son, Dane. In 2008 we adopted Michael. Dane is in
3rd Grade and Michael is in the Early Childhood Program at Westwood. Besides
spending time with family, I absolutely love learning and trying new things.
Although I do enjoy books, technology, and watching performing arts, I'm
more of a adventurer than a spectator. I like travel, camping, gardening,
home improvement & D.I.Y. projects, photography, drawing. Sometimes I just
crave some hard sweaty labor, like back on the farm of my childhood in Louisiana.
