* Late assignments:
Eleven points taken off and due the next day; two days late will get a grade
of no higher than 50, and student sits out of recess to do the assignment;
after two days a grade of 0 will be recorded.
* Corrections:
Students will be allowed to correct two papers per subject per 9 weeks on which the student scores a
grade below 70. If all the corrections are right, a grade of 70 will be recorded. This is a change from
the previous grading policy.
* Planners/Homework Folders:
Check planners daily for communication on assignments and behavior. Please
initial the planner each night, I will check them daily. Students will bring
homework folder home every night, regardless of having homework or not.
* Homework:
There is a change in my homework policy as well. If a student doesn't complete an assignment in the
allotted amount of time the assignment will be homework. It must be returned the next day or it will be
considered late and 11 points will be taken off. Homework will be found in the back pocket of the
binder.
* Grading:
If corner is clipped, the grade was recorded.
*Papers will be sent home as they are graded. The papers will be returned to the student and will be in
the front pocket of the binder. Please remove the papers daily.
