How do I know my child will be challanged in your class?

I ask that you please give me the first 3 weeks to get to know and assess each of my students. It is 
the goal of the kindergarten team to make sure we are meeting the individual needs of each and 
every student enrolled at Westwood.  Please remember that these are 5 and 6 year olds that need 
emotional, social, and educational growth during this first year.  I will do my best as your child's 
teacher to meet each and every one of their needs to be successful students at Westwood Elementary.

How will I know if my child is functioning at the expected level?

I will be meeting with every parent at least once during the year to go over student's progress during 
the school year.
