Welcome to Second Grade! What an awesome group of kids we have this year!
I am so excited! This is my 18th year of teaching! Wow! I previously taught 8
years in first grade in Pasadena and this will be my tenth year at Westwood!
I graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 1994 with a degree in Elementary
Education with a major in reading and a minor in health. I also have recently
completed my Masters degree in Administration from UHCL. Looking forward to
becoming an Assistant Principal in the future.
I live in Friendswood with my husband and two daughters. Chad is an
optometrist in Alvin. Jordan is in 8th grade at Friendswood Jr. High and Jenna
is in 5th
grade at the north campus (a.k.a. Bales).
My passion is reading! I love to read about methods of teaching and I
love to read books by Jodi Piccoult, Karen Kingsbury, and Kristin Hannah.
