What is the Storybook Parade?

The Storybook Parade is an opportunity for the Westwood community to celebrate
reading! Each October, students are given the chance to dress up as a favorite
book character. In the afternoon, before the class Fall parties, we have a
parade in the gym to show off our most loved books.

What do I need to know about the parade?

Please be ready with costume and book BEFORE October 29th. We do not have the
resources to help students find a corresponding book the morning of the parade.

If you need help finding a book to go with a costume, email me by October 28th
at the latest. crieger@fisdk12.net
