SUPPLIES: You should gather your supplies as soon as you can. All notebooks must be ready to go by the Monday following the first day of school.

 

 

Blue or black ink pens               highlighter                                1 spiral notebooks

Purple folder                              red pen                                       (one subject spirals)

notebook paper                        1 box of kleenex

 

 

The folder will count as a grade each six weeks. For full credit, it must be kept in the following order:

 

Course Requirements              >      These handouts are to be kept at the front

Classroom Policies                  >      of the folder throughout the year.

Standards for Written Work   >      You will refer to them many times.

Then, assignments for the six weeks.

 

 

 

***Always keep a well-supplied stock of notebook paper in the back of your folder.

 

 

 

First Half of the Spiral: Warm-ups

Each day you will have a warm-up activity to complete.  You will begin this activity before the bell rings.  You will be given a few minutes in class to complete it, and then we will begin with the day’s assignment.  In the left-hand margin you will write the day’s date for each warm-up.  If you are absent, on your warm-up page write the date of the day you were absent and write ABSENT.

 

 

Second Half of the Spiral:  Notes

You will write all your notes for English in this spiral and keep them there.
