Reading A minimum of 12 grades

Late work Eleven
points will be deducted for any assignment deemed late by the teacher. A “Late Assignment Notice” will be sent
home with the student, must be signed by a parent or guardian, and brought back
the following school day along with the missing assignment. If the assignment
is not returned at this time, a zero will be issued, but the student is still
expected to complete the assignment.
Make-Up Work Students
have as many days to complete work as they are absent. The maximum make-up time allowed is
five days.
Corrections Students
who fail a test will be provided an opportunity to receive additional
practice/instruction before making corrections or retaking the test (format is
at the discretion of the teacher). A grade of 70 is the maximum that can be
earned on the re-assessment. Failing daily work will be left to the discretion
of the teacher.
Cheating 1ST
time: 20 points deducted from test
grade; notification to parent and counselor referral
2nd
time: 50 points deducted from test
grade; notification to parent
3rd
time: zero recorded; notification
to parent
Talking
during a test which does not involve cheating should be treated according to
procedures for other classroom misbehaviors.
