4th Grade Homework Policy
Any assignment that is not finished in class will be considered homework and is due the following day. If an assignment is homework, your child will highlight it in his/her organizer.
Time is limited for Spelling, but if your child uses his/her time wisely, he/she should be able to finish most assignments at school.
Students should know their math facts: multiplication through x 12, and addition and subtraction through 20. Students need to practice their facts nightly if they do not have them memorized.
Students should also read for pleasure at least fifteen minutes each night!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If your child is spending more than a total of 45 minutes a night on homework, let me know right away! Mrs. Lell and I try to coordinate all other assignments to keep homework at a minimum.
Math "Wraps" are great for practicing math facts at home. They may be purchased at any teacher supply for about $8.
