Mr. Jay Estes, Joel's dad, came to talk to us today about space exploration and his current Orion project. Here are the links he showed the kids today, with some incredible videos of orbit around Earth:

4th grade Field Day will be on Friday, May 18th, and we will begin the events shortly after students arrive to their classrooms.  After a brief opening ceremony in the gymnasium, the events will begin promptly at 8:30am.  The final event (tug-of-war) should end by the first lunch bell (11:00 am).
Parents are welcome to come cheer on our classroom!!!!
