Hi! Welcome to Mrs. Gloger's website! I am so excited about getting to
know my new students this year! Everyone will be on their way to a great
start as they learn to use their organizer to record assignments and
participate in class. I can tell it is going to be a great year!
**I am going to help all of my students set up a binder system that will
help them stay organized and they can use it throughout high school. This
binder system has been found to be very helpful with most of my students.
You can help your child be more organized by checking their trapper keeper
each night. Help your child find the right place for papers. Every paper
has a place: work to be complete goes in the front pocket of a pocket
divider, work that is completed and ready to be turned in goes in the back
pocket of a divider, notes and other papers should be hole punched and
placed in the rings behind the appropriate class divider. If you're not sure
where the paper goes, ask me and I'll gladly help you! The goal of the
trapper keeper is to establish a habit of organization. :-)**
If you want to have your binder set up before the first day of school, then do
the following. Put 1 green pen, 2 blue pens, 1
highlighter, 2 sharpened pencils, 1 dry erase marker and 1 pencil
sharpener in your pencil bag and put the bag on the rings in the front of the
trapper keeper (a 3 ring binder with a zipper all around the edge). Next, put
your pocket dividers in and label them Other, Math, Science, Social Studies,
and LA Homework. Finally, put about 1/3 of a package of paper in the binder
behind the pocket dividers. You will keep one package of notebook paper at
home to be used in the classroom later if we run out and for you to have at
home for homework if needed. Label your scissors, markers, and map pencils
with your name. You can put these items, along with your 2 glue sticks and
black sharpie in a gallon size ziplock bag with your first and last name on
it. I will pick up the baggie of art supplies and hold onto it for you or you
can choose to keep them in your backpack/binder. These items tend to
take up a lot of space in the binder but some kids do prefer to keep them so
that they don't get lost. I will also pick up all of the other supplies. Now
you will be off to a great start!

tests. Most kids who use this link see a significant increase in their
grades. :-)
