About The Teacher

Hi!Thanks for checking out my website! 

I have been teaching 5th grade math, science, and social studies for 20 
years. I have Marketing and Management degrees from Texas A&M University 
(whoop!) and my teacher's certification, with a specialization in math, is 
from Texas State University (it was called Southwest back in the old days).
I have three children.  My daughter is a Junior in college, my son is a Senior
 in high school and my step son is in the 10th grade.

Mission For The Class

I really want each child to enjoy school and learning while developing 
his/her organizational skills, sense of responsiblity, ability to work and 
get along with others, leadership skills and self-confidence. I want each 
student to feel comfortable asking questions and to have fun while learning!
