Every student is required to read a total of 10 books each nine-weeks for a total of 40 by the end of the school year. Books with 300 or more pages will count as two books.
Students must read from the following genres:
FICTION:
Historical Fiction – 3
Realistic Fiction – 3
Science Fiction - 2
Mystery – 3
Fantasy – 3
Poetry – 2
NON-FICTION:
Information, Biography, or Autobiography – 4
