GINGERBREAD HOUSE TRADITION
At Wolfe Elementary!
Wolfe’s Annual
Gingerbread House art activity will take place December 7th-11th,
with all grade levels participating! This
is a wonderful way to kick off the Holiday Season and parents are always
welcome to join the fun!
The Art
Department will begin collecting candy from students now. Kindergarten
through Fourth grade students are to bring a sealed bag of candy or candy
sprinkles to contribute to the communal supply of decorations for the houses.
Fifth grade
students are to bring one 14.4 oz. box of Nabisco Honey Graham Crackers (in
the blue box, not reduced fat or from Sam’s please, they are not the right
size) … as soon as possible so we can start the Big Gingerbread House!
Suggestions for
candy include gum drops, hard candies, cookie sprinkles, red hots, miniature
marshmallows, M&M’s, life savers, Hershey kisses, miniature chocolate bars,
string licorice, and peppermints. PLEASE,
NO PEANUT PRODUCTS. All
leftover candy will be donated to a local charity.
PTO WILL BE
PROVIDING CANDYCANES - PLEASE DO NOT SEND
WE look forward
to seeing all of you for this really fun event!
