Alfonso Correa
School for the Talented and Gifted
AP English Language and Composition
(972) 925-6318
Correa is entering year number 17th of teaching (his 12th at TAG)
in 2012-2013 and is now getting the hang of it. It is said that he is tough,
but fair. It is also said he expects too much, but will perform superhuman
acts to help his students meet those expectations.
He lives in Oak Cliff (Winnetka Heights) with four other people who put up
with his crazy schedule and his annoying third-person habit: Cristian
(eight), Isabela (six), Andres (two) and Ginnette (a saint in
most people's opinion).

All who have meditated on the art of governing mankind have been convinced
that the fate of empires depends on the education of the youth. --Aristotle
An educator's main goal is to teach students how to think correctly and, as a
result, control their own learning. Expectations are high at TAG. They are
even higher in my courses. Students are expected to read all assignments
critically and thoroughly, and should be prepared for class each day.
