| This website is designed to work in groups. Let me explain how the groupwork
is done.
Step 1:
- You receive a card with a picture on it. You look for other pupils with
the same card. Together you form a group. Your group name is on the cards.
Step 2:
- On your card is a number. You take a look at that number and remember it.
Step 3:
- You leave the first group you were in (step 1) and make groups with the
people who have the same number as you. But remmeber the first group you
were in, because you will have to go back to your first group! It is easy to
remember the name of your first group to go back to that group in the end.
When you made groups with the people who have the same number as you, you
get a task. You will find the tasks on this website. It is a task about
Scotland, of course! You do this task in your group.
When you have finished, you go back to the first group you were in. In that
group you will get another task. You will see that everyone in you first
group had different tasks about Scotland. But you need each other's
information to complete the last task. So you will have to tell your
groupmates what you found out about Scotland. Your teacher will give you
worksheets to use for your tasks.
It all looks difficult, but your teacher will help you to form groups and
give you your tasks. If there are problems, don't hesitate to ask your
teacher for help!
