Hi! My name is Jan Michael. I have taught for 24 years. I received
my degrees in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, and Special Education
from West Virginia Wesleyan College. I received my Masters from WVU in
Special Education. I have taught Special Education, Third Grade,
Kindergarten, and Pre-k in Upshur, Nicholas, and Tucker Counties.
I met my husband 28 years ago at WVWC and we have been married for 24 years.
We have three children; Ryan is a senior at West Virginia Wesleyan College
majoring in Elementary Education, Josh is a Coal Miner, and Jonnette is a
Junior at Tucker County High School.
When I’m not in school I am a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator and enjoy making
cards. I also enjoy spending time with my family, reading, walking, camping,
and playing with our Lab, Jersey. During the summer I love to go to Lake
Erie and spend time at Lakeside, Ohio.
