Food Factor FLL Challenge release Sept 2, 2011

Welcome to the Wasatch Jr HS Robotics Club and FLL team site. FLL (First Lego
League) is an international competition using Lego Mindstorms robots to
complete missions that reflect the year's research challenge. This year's
theme is "Food Factor". Teams are raising money to pay for team
registration. There are currently 3 teams of Wasatch students registered and
hoping to qualify and make it to the big show at the University of Utah
in January 2012.

We will be trying out a new format to introduce new students to FLL this
coming year because of the incredible interest in robotics. Listen and stay tuned.

This is a great link to get quick overview of the First Lego League(FLL) from
the University of Utah. This is an international program that has been around
for 20 years. The "U" brought an official regional FLL tournament to Utah
last year(2010) and there are over 100 teams now competing to qualify for a
spot in the regional tournament at the "U" at the end of January, 2012. Check
it out!

Great site to teach engineering, programming of NXT robots-that's Mindstorms
used in FLL competitions. Great place to learn about working on projects,
creativity, programming ideas, the math behind programming!!

Cool animation of last year's Body Forward missions. The characters are great!

Good look at missions and how points are earned in the robot game.
Body Forward video: how to get points for different missions

Don't know if they are using the same software to run this robot...
Absolutely Awesome look at robot design and accomplishing all tasks for Body Forward!
