Start the Self Portrait in class and continue working on the homework sketches at home (see sketchbooks page)

 

Week ending 12/2

 

Students are working on Portraits.  They are learning proportions of the human face as well as techniques for drawing different parts of the face.  They will be starting a Self portrait in pastels working from a photo taken in class.  Please see "Sketchbooks" to see what they should be working on at home.

 

They will also choose a portrait of a famous person that they will work on in class and finish at home.
