Week 9

Students are working on pinch pots.  They are learning to create designs in the body of the pot by engraving into the pot and by adding clay to create low and or high relief.  They are also working on compiling information for designs for masks.  Sketchbooks with examples of masks from around the world are due on Tuesday.  Pinch pots should be ready for bisque firing by the end of the week.

Ceramic Tiles

Students will continue to work on glazing the bisque tiles. Tiles should be ready to fire by Friday
