Dear Parents:                                                                              September, 9, 2011

Assalmu Alaikum

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of you to a new school year, hoping that you had a wonderful summer and EID holiday. I ask ALLAH to accept all of our fasting and worship during the holy month of Ramadan. I would like to welcome those students who are returning, and those who are new this year. May Allah make this year a fruitful and prosperous one as we start our year in the new school building.

My name is Roua Duwaji and I will be teaching Arabic and Quran for 7th and 8th graders this year. This is my seventh year with Al- Fatih, and I am looking forward to work with all students. May ALLAH help me to be of benefit to all, and to help your child in achieving at his/her full potential.

Throughout the year, we will communicate with the home through notes, telephone calls, progress reports, school newsletters and report cards. We will also be available for parent-teacher conferences, as they are needed.

Once again, I would like to welcome everyone back from summer vacation. This school year is going to be a great experience for your child. I would like to thank you in advance for your support and commitment throughout the year.

I value the trust and confidence that you have placed in us and I am looking forward to work together in partnership to give your child a solid foundation for the future.
